What’s new
Govly AI has a new home and a new interface
The AI experience formerly labeled “Chat” now lives on the left-hand navigation as Govly AI. The layout will feel familiar if you’ve used modern AI tools:
A significantly stronger AI agent
Under the hood, Govly AI is now powered by a new agent architecture. The result:
Pre-configured research experiences still exist, but they are no longer required. Govly AI can now handle these workflows naturally without heavy pre-prompting.
AI-powered Govly search creation
Govly AI can now interact directly with the application to:
The legacy AI assistant inside Opportunity Search is being retired as this functionality moves fully into Govly AI. Award search creation is coming soon.
Admin-uploaded documents for shared context
Admins can now upload documents via Settings → AI → Documents. These documents are used as shared context for all users in the organization.
Custom agents via personalized prompts
Users can now create custom instructions and prompts to tailor Govly AI to their specific focus areas, for example Navy-only coverage or role-specific research needs.

This agent will continue to improve in real time. Upcoming enhancements include better award search creation and general polish across outputs.
